Philadelphia & Washington DC

Philadelphia is a Historic city of the United States, it has many monuments and the city itself is very attractive. Washington DC is the capital of the United States and it has its own attractions such as the White House, Capitol Hill, Lincoln Memorial, etc... We covered both these cities on 31st August 2013 and a day is not enough to cover a large area like that.

Downtown Manhattan

The financial district of Manhattan is very unique from the other neighborhoods in Manhattan. The Wall Street in the morning rush hour is packed with gents wearing full suits, during the weekends the entire area becomes a ghost town.

There are many monuments and attractions in the down town and when you go to the Battery Park it becomes a completely different environment. The Battery Park City and the walkway along the Hudson River provide you the perfect atmosphere for a long walk during the summer time.

Bear Mountain State Park

The park is located about an hour and a half north of New York City by train. We went there on Sunday, 25th August 2013. It’s a nice location to go on a hike and to learn a little bit about the history.

Central Park

By far the best attraction in New York City and I can see myself visiting here many more times. I went to the park briefly before my main tour on Sunday, 18th August 2013 but most of the site seeing happened on Sunday. Walked all around the park for about 4-5 hours and it just keeps getting better and better.
