Among the highlights were the Michael Jackson's Thriller zombie dancers. They did a really nice job and there were at least 500 people on that segment alone.

Roosevelt Island

Roosevelt Island is a small island strip located between Manhattan and Queens on the East River. There aren’t many public transport options to go to the Island – there is just one Subway Station on the Island or if you want to get an awesome Arial view you can take the Cable Car operated by the MTA. If you go south you’ll find the much nicer Roosevelt Freedom Park and in the northern tip there is the Lighthouse Park. There are some small parks in the middle but they seem mostly residential playgrounds.

On 20th October 2013 all around the Roosevelt Freedom Park is turning yellow and orange except the lawn. The two best things of the Roosevelt Island are the Roosevelt Freedom Park and the Cable Car ride.

Liberty State Park

Though the famous Statue of Liberty is located in New York, the Liberty State Park is located in New Jersey. The park is a big area and compared to the Central Park and Prospect Park in this one was very calm and almost empty. As of 5th October 2013 it’s not very cold and feels like Summer, but the signs of fall is visible everywhere around the park.
