Thalangama Lake is famous among the Photographers who like Birds. Though it was a gloomy day and the lake was not really clean we managed to get some nice photographs; not really birds but what’s happening around the lake.

Deanna School of Dancing has organized a concert called Unleashed. It was held on 18th August 2012 at the Bishops College Auditorium.

Though they are specialized on Ballet dancing they have done a really good job on free style. Specially the choreography has been amazing.

Portraiture and Model shoot

Photography Society of Sri Lanka (PSSL) has organized another Field Visit; this time it’s a Portraiture and Model shoot. It took place at Gampaha Botanical Gardens on 14th July 2012. Prior to going to the Gampaha gardens we went to Pilikuttuwa – which has many caves spread across its 300 forest.

International Rhythm World Dancesport Championship - 2012

For the 2nd consecutive year the International Rhythm World Dancesport Championship was organized and it was held on 8th July 2012 at the Grand Ballroom of Galadari Hotel - Colombo. The event was not second to the previous year as there were some amazing performances by both Local and International dancers.

Field Trip : Galle

Photography Society of Sri Lanka (PSSL) has organized a Field Visit to Galle and several other locations on the way to Galle. The visit was a day trip on 23rd June 2012. It was a really good learning opportunity specially to learn composition :)
