Winter is something new for me; I've seen winter activities on TV but have never experienced any of this before.

Ice Skating on the frozen lakes in Sweden was fun and it was a brand new experience although I didn't quite get how to do Ice Skating properly.

Colombo Night Races - 2011

For the first time in Colombo, the official Night Races happened at 17th December 2011. The main event people were waiting for was the Super Car event which Dilantha Malagamuwa was participating, however the most exciting event was the evermore competitive SL-GT event packed with Evos and Subaru cars.

RedBull Air Show

RedBull has organized an Air Show on 3rd December 2011 at Unawatuna. From Colombo it's over 100km away and earlier it used to take over 3 hours to travel down south, but now thanks to the newly opened Southern Expressway we were there within an hour.

Luckily the weather was all good for the Air Show and everything went well.

The Melomanic Sessions

The Melomanic Sessions was held at the Warehouse Project on 5th November 2011. It was in support to a patient who is suffering with major health problems.

The Grid

It's a dining place located in SpeedRome for the automobile enthusiasts. They have a crazy menu filled with all Formula 1 star names. Prices are bit too much but it's a convenient place to hang out and watch some games on TV with your friends.
